Job summary

Reed is seeking a commercially minded Client Engagement Partner to bridge our Business Development and operational recruitment teams, ensuring a seamless transition for new clients and laying foundations for long-term success.

The role supports Reed's Core North region and involves regular travel; 12-month fixed term/secondment. You will drive engagement, manage onboarding processes, and identify opportunities to expand Reed services, including MSP and RPO.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, account management, client success, business development, or a related commercial role.
• Ability to build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships.
• Strong business development and consultative selling skills.
• Excellent networking, influencing, and communication abilities.
• Ability to identify opportunities and translate them into revenue growth.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience using CRM systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact in Reed's "land and expand" journey for newly won clients.
• Support the successful handover of new business opportunities from sales to operational teams.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to establish Reed as the client's preferred recruitment partner.
• Create and maintain detailed organisational charts, identifying hiring managers, decision-makers, and reporting structures.
• Map and engage senior stakeholders across client organisations, ensuring contact information is accurately maintained in HubSpot and X3.
• Understand clients' recruitment, HR, procurement, and onboarding processes to maximise service delivery.
• Proactively identify recruitment opportunities by monitoring client activity and uncovering live vacancies.
• Ensure opportunities are shared with the appropriate Reed specialists and followed through to conversion.
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional Reed services, including screening solutions, C+, MSP, RPO, and other value-added offerings.
• Coordinate and attend service reviews alongside relevant Reed stakeholders.
• Gather client feedback, testimonials, and case studies to support future business development.
• Support sales and marketing initiatives by promoting client engagement through webinars, events, and hospitality opportunities.
• Build awareness of future contract renewals, re-tenders, and strategic growth opportunities.
• Ensure accurate reporting and tracking of client engagement activity through Power BI and internal systems.
