Job summary

Polo Works in Cheltenham is seeking a Project Manager to proactively work with internal stakeholders and suppliers to define, build and deliver new capabilities including technical solutions and upgraded business processes to meet strategic objectives. The role requires working from the Cheltenham office two to three days per week, with occasional travel to the Polo London office.

Knowledge of the Lloyd’s of London insurance market or a similar regulated industry is essential.

• Experience in Lloyd’s of London insurance market or similar regulated industry is essential.
• Experience in outsourcing environments is desirable.
• Budget management experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate across multiple workstreams to define and implement new business and technical solutions with internal teams.
• Initiate projects, define deliverables and establish governance models.
• Deliver projects across multiple workstreams to meet time, cost, quality, compliance objectives.
• Execute and manage the project plan day-to-day, monitor progress and escalate when needed.
• Lead cross-functional and multi-disciplined teams to support solution rollout.
• Resource projects appropriately and escalate potential slippage early.
• Engage with Senior stakeholders and prepare reports for steering groups.
• Support senior management decision making and adhere to Polo’s policies and regulatory requirements.
• Share progress, lessons learned and best practices in Polo leadership forums.
