Job summary

BDO UK is seeking a Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic changes within the Operations PMO. You will oversee projects from initiation through to implementation, ensuring outcomes are on time, within budget and to the required standard.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, manage governance, risks and benefits realisation, and champion continuous improvement while embedding the firm’s Change Minimum Standards.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience within complex organisations.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project delivery.
• Experience developing business cases, budgets and tracking benefits.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and risk management.
• Understanding of project governance, resource planning and reporting.
• Experience in professional services and exposure to Workday HCM/Finance or MSD CMS is advantageous.
• Ability to coach, mentor and support colleagues while driving change.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver strategic projects within the Operations PMO.
• Oversee projects from initiation through to implementation with on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Manage governance, risks, resources and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide regular updates to governance forums and sponsors.
• Champion continuous improvement and embed Change Minimum Standards.
