Job summary

The University of Brighton is seeking an experienced organisational change professional to lead the delivery of transformation across the University. This two-year role will drive organisational change projects and workforce transition activities arising from the Transformation Programme, translating designs into practical plans and ensuring fair, compliant implementation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering complex organisational change, transformation and restructuring programmes.
• Expertise in workforce transition, consultation and organisational implementation.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations practice relating to organisational change.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with senior leaders and trade unions.
• A collaborative, people-centred approach to change, with the ability to manage organisational risks and deliver successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of organisational change projects and workforce transition activity arising from the Transformation Programme.
• Translate approved organisational designs into effective implementation and workforce transition plans.
• Provide expert advice and support on organisational change, consultation, redeployment and redundancy.
• Support leaders and managers navigating complex change programmes while assisting colleagues through transitions.
• Collaborate with a team to deliver the University's transformation agenda and long-term vision.
