Job summary

The University of Brighton is seeking an experienced organisational change leader to drive the transformation set out in the 2035 Distinctly Brighton strategy. You will lead the Organisational Change team and oversee major restructures and workforce transition activities, translating approved designs into delivery plans while ensuring legal and organisational compliance.

Working with Transformation and People Department colleagues and senior leaders, you will champion fair redeployment,

Qualifications

• Significant experience of implementing complex organisational change and restructuring programmes.
• Expertise in workforce transition, consultation and organisational implementation.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility at all levels.
• Experience of developing and managing high-performing teams.
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with effective delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the University's Organisational Change team and oversee major restructuring and workforce transition activity.
• Translate approved organisational designs into effective implementation and workforce transition plans.
• Ensure change is delivered consistently, effectively and in line with legal and organisational requirements.
• Provide expert advice on organisational change, consultation, redeployment and redundancy.
• Support leaders to deliver change in a fair, transparent and legally compliant way.
