Job summary

Elexon is seeking a Director of Change & Transformation to lead the Operations Directorate, delivering major programmes and organisation-wide change across the energy sector. You will drive governance, portfolio strategy, and a customer/digital-first delivery approach, partnering with the Executive, Board and regulators to ensure measurable value.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong delivery frameworks and the ability to manage complex programmes and supplier ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering major programmes and organisational transformation.
• Experience in complex, regulated or stakeholder-driven environments.
• Ability to influence at senior, Executive and regulatory levels.
• Strong governance, reporting and risk management capabilities.
• Financial acumen and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead overarching strategy for programme delivery and business change.
• Shape an enterprise-wide change portfolio aligned with priorities.
• Champion a customer- and digital-first approach across delivery.
• Oversee major programmes ensuring delivery within scope, budgets and timelines.
• Provide governance and reporting to Exec, Board and regulators.
• Build and embed programme management frameworks and assurance processes.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of programme managers and change specialists.
• Ensure readiness and embedding of change across the organisation.
