Job summary

Gatehouse Bank plc is seeking a Delivery Lead to own the end-to-end delivery of strategic and regulatory initiatives within a cross-functional pod. You will mobilise initiatives, manage integrated delivery plans and drive progress across business, technology and supplier workstreams.

You will coordinate testing, readiness and handover to BAU, ensuring risks and dependencies are actively managed and delivery remains on track. Hybrid working is available with office-based duties.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering complex change initiatives in financial services or regulated environments.
• End-to-end accountability for project/change delivery.
• Strong planning and delivery management across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in matrix structures.
• Knowledge of governance, RAID, dependencies and change control.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts and supplier commitments.
• Ability to sequence constrained delivery capacity against priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Experience coordinating business, technology, testing, change and third-party delivery.
• Ability to challenge delivery expectations and articulate trade-offs.
• Understanding of operational and regulatory risk in financial services.
• Experience delivering technology-enabled as well as business change.
• Autonomy in a fast-moving delivery environment.
• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Take accountability for end-to-end delivery of initiatives assigned to the pod.
• Mobilise initiatives with plans, milestones, governance and resources.
• Maintain integrated delivery plans across business, technology, supplier and change activity.
• Drive delivery against scope, timescales, budget and outcomes.
• Remove blockers and escalate constraints to maintain momentum.
• Ensure clear ownership of actions, decisions and deliverables.
• Coordinate testing, readiness, acceptance and transition to BAU.
• Ensure proper closure, handover and post-implementation activity.
• Lead the multidisciplinary pod on a day-to-day basis.
• Manage sequencing and capacity of resources across initiatives.
• Provide visibility of capacity, pressures and constraints to leadership.
• Support performance and development through delivery feedback.
• Plan estimation and forecasting for assigned initiatives.
