Job summary

Boyden is seeking a commercially astute Chief Financial Officer to join its Executive Leadership Team of a national, privately held capital equipment SME. You will shape and execute a robust financial strategy across multiple divisions to support growth, including organic development and strategic acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Understanding of supply chain challenges, project financing, bill of materials.
• Multi-site industrial environments, diverse subsidiaries within a Group.
• Intellectual curiosity and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance strategy
• Oversee the central and divisional finance teams
• Strengthen budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting and management information
• Provide commercial insight to support operational and strategic decision-making
• Oversee governance, risk, legal, audit and regulatory compliance
• Manage cash flow, working capital and balance sheet performance
• Build strong relationships with lenders, HMRC and other external stakeholders
• Partner with the leadership team
