Job summary

The CFO HQ in London seeks a commercially minded Business Controller to lead budgeting, forecasting and management reporting across a growing portfolio of professional services businesses. Reporting to the CEO, you will deliver KPIs and decision-support information to senior leadership and support profitability, pricing and cost optimisation.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with 4+ years PQE (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with BI/reporting tools.
• Experience in acquisitive, multi-site or decentralised organisations is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated, highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Deliver management information, KPIs and decision-support reporting.
• Analyse performance trends, risks and variances; recommend improvements.
• Support leadership with profitability, pricing, utilisation and cost optimisation.
• Assist with integration of newly acquired businesses, including reporting and governance alignment.
• Develop and improve financial models, reporting tools and BI capabilities.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to drive commercial performance and business growth.
