Job summary

QTS Data Centers in the United Kingdom is seeking a Category Sourcing Manager to develop, execute and manage corporate sourcing across direct and indirect categories. You will perform complex data analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate strategic supplier programs for data center design, construction, electrical, mechanical and infrastructure fit-outs.

You will lead cross-functional teams to drive category strategies, optimize purchasing and ensure governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in procurement or supply-chain.
• 7+ years of experience in Sourcing/Procurement/Supply-Chain.
• Experience in contract development, execution, negotiation and management.
• Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders to gather category requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing category management activities within assigned spend categories.
• Drive supplier and industry category profiles and strategies for data center providers.
• Identify and leverage company-wide spend opportunities.
• Lead supplier contract negotiation activities.
• Develop contracting strategies for high-spend and complex categories.
• Coordinate Facilities’ purchasing across national data center portfolio.
• Support supplier selection and bid analysis processes.
• Provide strategic guidance to Total Cost of Ownership models for sourcing decisions.
• Develop implementation strategies and timelines.
• Lead implementation activities for high-impact categories.
• Monitor compliance with supplier agreements in high-spend areas.
• Develop long-range sourcing plans to reduce total costs and maximize supplier value.
