Job summary

Greencore, following the January 2026 merger with Bakkavor, is seeking a Procurement Manager - Capex based at our head office in Leeds Broad Gate. You will own supplier performance for Capex categories and drive value-for-money through strategic negotiations and contracts.

The role requires capital expenditure experience, knowledge of JCT contracts is desirable, and a valid driving licence. A dynamic, collaborative environment awaits in a leading UK food producer.

Qualifications

• Experience in indirect procurement within manufacturing environments.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
• Ability to analyse data, assess options and make recommendations.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial aspects and supplier performance for Capex spend.
• Drive value-for-money by balancing price, service and quality across projects.
• Lead tenders, supplier selection, contracting and contract management.
• Provide strategic procurement guidance across multiple Greencore sites.
• Ensure alignment with business risk and service level requirements.
