Job summary

Greencore, based at our head office in Leeds, is seeking a Procurement Manager - Capex for a fixed term contract. You will oversee commercial aspects and supplier performance for Capex spend, driving value, negotiating contracts, and engaging stakeholders across the business.

Experience in capital expenditure within manufacturing, knowledge of JCT contracts is desirable, and a valid driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Degree calibre with indirect procurement experience.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Able to analyse data and evaluate options.
• Experience managing multi-site procurement.

Responsibilities

• Create value for money for goods and services by negotiating and contracting with suppliers.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and promote best procurement practice.
• Take a strategic view to manage spend, identify savings opportunities and standardise processes.
• Project manage procurement initiatives from needs analysis to supplier management and delivery.
