Job summary
National Gas in Warwick is seeking a Senior Capacity Strategy & Development Analyst to join the NTS Capacity & Access Development team. You will apply analytical and regulatory expertise to shape capacity strategy across the National Transmission System and deliver value for customers and stakeholders.
The role sits at the heart of how the network is managed today and prepared for tomorrow, analyzing risks, identifying opportunities to optimise performance, and influencing strategic decisions
Qualifications
- Experience assessing complex risks and recommending mitigations.
- Experience using data to identify trends and support decisions.
- Experience delivering process improvements.
- Experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Experience working across multiple teams to deliver outcomes.
- Ability to balance short- and long-term objectives.
- Understanding regulatory, commercial or operational frameworks.
- Numerate degree or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop capacity and constraint strategies across the NTS.
- Analyse data to identify risks and opportunities.
- Lead reviews of capacity release methodologies and processes.
- Assess impacts of regulatory changes on operations and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to respond to capacity risks.
- Design and implement innovative capacity release and constraint solutions.
- Influence stakeholders across National Gas, Ofgem and the wider industry.
