Job summary

National Gas in Warwick is seeking an Innovation Delivery Lead to drive a portfolio focused on safety, reliability and performance of the gas transmission network. You will take projects from concept to implementation, shaping standards and investment decisions across the organization.

The role requires experience leading complex programmes, autonomous delivery, and strong stakeholder management, with a focus on practical, data-driven solutions for a safety-critical industry.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex projects, programmes or portfolios in engineering/ utilities.
• Autonomous work style with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Curiosity and proactive problem-solving approach.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders and partners.
• Experience managing scope, budgets, risks, governance and delivery.
• Ability to interpret technical and operational information to drive practical solutions.
• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in gas, energy, utilities or safety-critical sectors.
• Knowledge of funding mechanisms like NIA/SIF/UKRI.
• Understanding of asset integrity and risk management.
• Experience implementing new technologies and operational improvements.
• Experience developing business cases and investment recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Leading the Safety & Integrity innovation portfolio.
• Managing projects from concept through to implementation.
• Working across the business to identify key issues and develop solutions.
• Developing business cases and funding submissions.
• Working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and industry partners.
