Civil Works Alliance (CWA) is supporting Sizewell C's procurement and supply chain activities in the UK. The role assists Procurement Managers in developing engagement strategies that maximise value and align with project priorities.

Key responsibilities include coordinating tender processes, supplier evaluations, and contract drafting, while developing local and SME engagement initiatives to support responsible procurement and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with procurement operations and contract law.
• Experience in supply base management and procurement strategy.
• Ability to coordinate tender processes and supplier evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of risk and opportunity management.

Responsabilités

• Support in the implementation of procurement strategies and processes.
• Assist with sourcing and formally agreeing an appropriate supply chain.
• Compiling robust tender enquiries.
• Coordinate and manage the formal tender process.
• Coordinate commercial and technical reviews of tender returns with specialist functions.
• Lead tender negotiation processes and develop award recommendations.
• Draft, issue and execute contracts per project guidelines.
• Develop supplier database linked to Compete For and monitor engagement and prequalification status.
• Develop local, diverse SME engagement strategies and host Meet the Buyer events.
