Job summary

RMK Talent Solutions, on behalf of a leading investment manager, is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to join the sales team, covering the South of England. The role targets independent financial advisers, investment management firms, and intermediaries, with emphasis on outbound outreach and face-to-face client meetings.

You will develop new business opportunities, manage CRM activity, attend events, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize campaigns.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years' sales experience within Financial Services, preferably with IFAs or investment management firms.
Experience working with financial advisers and understanding of investment products (MPS, DFM or Multi Asset preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional B2B relationships.

Responsibilities

Engage and develop relationships with financial advisers to promote the company's investment products and services.
Maintain and implement an effective contact strategy with IFAs throughout the sales cycle.
Identify and prioritise target firms in collaboration with the team, ensuring alignment with sales objectives.
Meet activity, KPI, and sales targets aligned with business goals.
