Job summary

North Yorkshire Council is seeking a Solutions Architect in Northallerton to shape business architecture and drive organisational change across services. You will analyse strategy, identify capability needs and develop artefacts to guide investment decisions.

You will collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Business Analysts and Senior Stakeholders to build target operating models, roadmaps and governance while mentoring colleagues and embedding best practice across Technology Services.

Qualifications

• In depth understanding of business architecture, enterprise architecture and organisational change gained through experience delivering strategic transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience of business modelling techniques, including business capabilities, business processes and target operating models.
• Knowledge of business and systems analysis methods and tools such as BPMN, LEAN and UML.
• Experience of developing strategic roadmaps and business architecture deliverables that guide organisational change and investment decisions.
• Experience of working with senior stakeholders across large and complex organisations to influence decision making and deliver business outcomes.
