Job summary

North Yorkshire Council is seeking a Solutions Architect to shape the council's business architecture capability. You will analyse strategy, identify future capability needs and define operating models that guide transformation across services and directorates.

Working with Enterprise and Technical Architects, you will develop roadmaps and governance, mentor colleagues, and lead architecture work packages to ensure investments deliver value and align with the council’s long-term priorities.

Qualifications

• In depth understanding of business architecture, enterprise architecture and organisational change gained through experience delivering strategic transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience of business modelling techniques, including business capabilities, business processes and target operating models.
• Knowledge of business and systems analysis methods and tools such as BPMN, LEAN and UML.
• Experience of developing strategic roadmaps and business architecture deliverables that guide organisational change and investment decisions.
• Experience of working with senior stakeholders across large and complex organisations to influence decision making and deliver business outcomes.
