Astute’s Power team is recruiting a Tendering and Estimation Manager for its Servicing department in the UK. Hybrid role with salary up to 85,000 plus private medical and benefits. The ideal candidate has strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills and a background in engineering or energy sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in tendering, estimating, bid management or commercial roles in engineering or energy sectors.
• Proven ability to prepare cost estimates, pricing models and tender submissions.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across technical and commercial teams.
• Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents to develop competitive, compliant proposals.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, pricing models and commercial submissions.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, procurement and commercial teams.
• Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations to support bids.
• Manage multiple tenders, ensuring deadlines and quality standards.
• Lead internal bid reviews and governance-aligned approvals.
• Prepare high-quality tender documentation and customer proposals.
• Support commercial discussions and contract negotiations through to award.
• Maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor tender performance and drive improvement in estimating and bid processes.
