Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Strategic Research Team in the Business Intelligence function. This fixed-term post runs until 31 March 2028 and involves designing PowerBI dashboards and analysing data from multiple council areas to support decision making.

The role supports the Council Plan, contributes to evidence-based practice, and may include flexibility around where and when you work.

Qualifications

• Experience as a business intelligence analyst in a public sector or similar environment.
• Proven ability to interpret and report on complex datasets for decision making.
• Design and build PowerBI dashboards to support senior managers and commissioners.
• Experience with surveys and mixed-methods data analysis is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and report on local and national datasets to support strategies and change activity.
• Design and build PowerBI dashboards for understanding complex data by teams and elected members.
• Support the Council Plan through data analysis and reporting in project groups.
• Support consultation and user research via survey design and analysis.
