Job summary

isepglobal seeks a Business Development & Social Value Manager for a leading contractor in Greater Manchester. You will drive business development across key sectors and ensure social value is delivered across projects.

The role covers tenders, frameworks, marketing and stakeholder engagement, with a competitive salary and clear career progression. You will work with clients, schools and communities to enhance social value initiatives and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Business Development, Social Value, Bid Management or Pre-Construction within construction.
• Strong understanding of Social Value requirements across public and private sector projects.
• Experience preparing quality tender responses, PQQs or framework submissions.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong written communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience working with CRM systems and procurement portals.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the company’s business development strategy.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across key market sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and framework providers.
• Develop client engagement plans to encourage repeat business.
• Attend networking events, client meetings and industry functions.
• Monitor planning and procurement portals for new opportunities.
• Maintain CRM database and tender registers.
• Develop and implement Social Value strategy and ESPs, coordinating across live projects.
• Coordinate tender submissions and prepare high-quality responses.
• Support Marketing and communications activities and promotional material.
