Job summary

Purosearch Ltd. is seeking a Social Value Manager for a leading Building Services (MEP) Consultancy in the North West.

You will lead social value and sustainability initiatives across the region, bridging engineering design with public procurement and local community needs to create lasting positive impact. You will collaborate with bid teams to craft social value responses, engage with councils, schools and community groups, and measure impact using industry frameworks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Social Value, CSR, or Community Impact within Built Environment or Professional Services.
• Familiarity with National TOMs, Social Value Portal and public sector procurement standards.
• Strong bid writing, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to gather, analyse and present social impact metrics clearly.
• Good understanding of the North West regional socio-economic landscape.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and deliver project-specific Social Value plans across the MEP portfolio.
• Collaborate with BD and bids teams to craft social value responses for tenders.
• Engage with councils, schools, social enterprises and community groups to coordinate STEM initiatives and pathways.
• Measure, track and report social impact using recognised frameworks.
• Advise engineering teams on how design choices affect community health and local supply chains.
