Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Social Value Manager based in Woodford Green with some flexibility. You will shape social value strategies for major tenders, writing compelling sections for bids and ensuring alignment with client KPIs and public sector frameworks.

You will lead workforce and supply chain initiatives, promoting apprenticeships and T‑Level opportunities while driving local engagement and inclusivity across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience writing social value sections for tenders and bids.
• Ability to interpret public sector frameworks, Section 106 agreements and KPIs.
• Advocacy for equality, diversity and inclusion and carbon reduction objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Bid Support

Support pre-construction and business development teams by writing high-quality social value sections for major tender submissions and bids.

Interpret public sector frameworks, Section 106 agreements, and client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to set realistic project targets.

Workforce & Supply Chain Collaboration

Champion employment and skills initiatives, including coordinating local apprenticeships, work placements, and T-Level support.

Work with commercial and supply chain teams to maximize local spending and engagement with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and social enterprises.

Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) and carbon reduction objectives across project operations.
