Job summary

TTP, based at Melbourn near Cambridge, is seeking a motivated Business Development Consultant to grow our Advanced Surgical market by building strong client relationships and identifying where TTP can add value.

You will combine technical insight with commercial sense to create compelling proposals, engage with clients and work with scientists and engineers across the business. You may travel for in-person meetings and events as needed.

Qualifications

• 2:1 degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
• Technical capability in a field related to Advanced Surgical market (mechanical/electronics/physics/product development).
• Creative and entrepreneurial mindset with ability to translate technical detail into commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a network of client relationships and generate new conversations and opportunities.
• Develop opportunities with new and existing clients by understanding technical, clinical and commercial priorities.
• Coordinate with colleagues across TTP to shape compelling propositions, proposals and scopes of work.
• Increase TTP visibility in the Advanced Surgical market through events, networks and external presence.
• Lead commercial discussions, including negotiations with consideration of delivery and ROI.
• Identify and research opportunities and energise the team to expand into new areas.
