Job summary

LR Legal Recruitment is seeking a BD & Business Manager for an international law firm in London. The role blends business development, marketing and business management, working closely with Construction leadership and senior stakeholders across the firm.

You will develop BD growth strategies, run client development plans, and lead targeted marketing campaigns and events. The position requires strong stakeholder management and analytical skills, with hybrid working in London.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional services, ideally a law firm or partnership.
• Strong business development, marketing, or strategic growth background.
• Excellent stakeholder management with senior partners.
• Analytical and project management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and CRM tools.
• Experience within Construction, Infrastructure or related sector advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of the Construction group's BD and growth strategy.
• Collaborate with partners and fee earners on client development, account plans, cross-selling and new opportunities.
• Develop and deliver targeted marketing campaigns, events and client engagement activity.
• Manage directory submissions, awards, credentials and sector communications.
• Support leadership meetings, strategic projects and wider business initiatives.
• Provide analysis and reporting around financial performance, client activity and business development pipelines.
• Assist budgeting, business cases and strategic growth initiatives.
• Co-line managing a Marketing & BD Executive.
