Job summary

WSP seeks an Asset Management Lead for the Nuclear/Defence sector to guide long-term capital planning, lifecycle modelling and regulatory compliance. You will advise senior clients, manage teams of technical experts, and drive data-driven decisions for asset performance and resilience.

You will lead tender submissions, develop client relationships, and oversee projects ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, and high-quality outcomes across UK & Ireland’s nuclear/defence assets.

Qualifications

• Experience in nuclear/defence engineering and infrastructure consulting.
• Knowledge of nuclear/defence standards and policies.
• Understanding of asset management practices and theory, and business strategy.
• Expertise in ISO 55000, lifecycle planning, investment planning, risk-based asset management and digital transformation.
• Experience with asset data systems and configuring EAM/CMMS/DSTs.
• Ability to present concepts clearly to clients and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the new nuclear/defence advisory area with high-quality tender submissions.
• Provide technical leadership in risk-based decision making and lifecycle planning.
• Lead analytical staff and inform long-term capital programmes.
• Engage with clients to map current and future asset management approaches.
• Mentor and develop project teams for high-performance delivery.
• Integrate technology (EAM/CMMS/DSTs) to enhance asset performance and resilience.
• Manage projects to time and budget, exceed client expectations.
• Drive innovation and sustainability initiatives in asset management.
