Job summary

WSP is seeking an Asset Management Lead for the Nuclear/Defence sector to guide long-term capital investment planning and life-cycle strategies. You will advise senior clients across public and private sectors on regulatory compliance and data-driven decisions.

You will lead a team of analysts and engineers, drive business development, and ensure high-quality tender submissions while mentoring staff and maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Extensive proficiency in nuclear/defence engineering and infrastructure consulting.
• Broad knowledge of nuclear/defence standards and policies.
• Understanding asset management practices and theory, and business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Growing and shaping this new area of the business, leading tender submissions and client development.
• Provide technical leadership in risk-based asset management and lifecycle planning.
• Lead analytical staff and experts to inform long-term investment programmes.
• Engage with clients to understand current asset management and future needs.
• Mentor teams and foster a high-performance, collaborative culture with SH&W compliance.
• Integrate EAM/CMMS/DSTs to enhance asset performance and resilience.
• Oversee projects to deliver on time, within budget, and exceed expectations.
• Drive innovation through process improvements and new technologies.
