Job summary

Control Risks is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Retainer Administration Specialist to join our Finance Shared Services Centre in the UK. The role focuses on administering insurance retainer accounts, reconciling receipts and posting to D365.

You will split time between client retainer administration and broader AR activities, including cash allocation, query resolution and month-end requirements, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Receivable and cash allocations.
• Experience using an ERP system; D365 experience would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail; able to manage large volumes of data.

Responsibilities

• Process retainer receipts, reconcile and allocate to client accounts.
• Prepare, validate, submit and post cash allocation journals with proper approvals.
• Process ledger settlements, customer allocations and FX adjustment journals.
• Reconcile retainer balances and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain remittance files, journal support and audit evidence.
• Support continuous improvement and automation initiatives in retainer administration.
• Assist with wider AR activities including month-end and queries.
