Job summary

Control Risks is seeking a motivated Accounts Receivable & Retainer Administration Specialist to join our Finance Shared Services Centre. The role administers, reconciles and allocates insurance retainer accounts, with a focus on one client, and ensures retainer receipts are processed accurately in D365.

Approximately 50% of the role covers client retainer administration, while the rest supports wider AR activities—cash allocation, resolving queries, collections and month-end requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Receivable, cash allocation or similar finance role.
• Experience processing payments, reconciliations and allocations.
• Experience using an ERP system; D365 experience is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage incoming retainer remittances.
• Complete manual processing in D365.
• Prepare, validate, submit and post cash allocation journals.
• Reconcile retainer balances and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain remittance files, journal support and audit evidence.
• Raise and manage allocation queries with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement and automation in retainer administration.
• Support AR activities across additional customer accounts and business units.
