Job summary

Dains, a rapidly growing UK accountancy practice, invites a highly motivated accounting professional to join our Accounts & Business Advisory team in Dunfermline, helping a diverse client portfolio with strategic financial guidance.

You will lead, coach and develop colleagues, supervise client work, review accounts and deliver proactive advice on growth, cash flow and profitability using modern cloud accounting tools and robust financial analysis.

Qualifications

• ICAS or ACCA qualified with CPD for your qualification.
• Proven track record supervising a designated client portfolio.
• Strong leadership, delegation and coaching abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of main accounting systems to advise clients.
• Exceptional communication with teams, management and clients.
• Ability to build trusted client relationships and advise during meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted business adviser.
• Provide proactive business, financial and strategic advice for growth.
• Review accounts prepared by team members for accuracy and quality.
• Lead client meetings and develop skills to guide discussions.
• Support business development and cross-team collaboration.
• Mentor and develop team members up to Senior level.
