Job summary

Directive Consulting is seeking an Account Director, Client Strategy to own senior client relationships across a high-value portfolio. You’ll align Paid Media, SEO, CRO, Creative, and RevOps to drive retention, expansion, and exceptional client experience.

You’ll partner with VP-, CMO-, and CRO-level stakeholders, lead renewal and expansion motions, and shape cross-channel growth plans with commercial rigor and executive presence.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in agency or client services roles with B2B SaaS or tech clients.
• Proven experience owning renewals, upsell, and cross-sell motions across a $2M+ portfolio.
• Strong fluency across Paid Media, SEO/Content, CRO, Creative, and RevOps, linking execution to outcomes.
• Experience partnering with VP-, CMO-, and CRO-level client stakeholders.
• Driven to stay ahead of industry trends, including AI and automation in marketing and operations.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic client relationships including executive communication and long-term value.
• Drive renewal, upsell, and cross-sell strategies tied to NRR performance.
• Architect cross-channel growth plans across Paid Media, SEO/Content, CRO, Creative, and RevOps.
• Manage portfolio economics: forecasting, margins, scope, renewals.
• Lead QBRs and translate data into business narratives showing revenue impact.
• Collaborate with channel leads, PMs, and operations to align priorities.
• Identify and mitigate client risks before escalation to leadership.
• Mentor strategists and analysts to elevate strategic thinking.
