Qualifications

• Engineering qualification preferred (HND or higher).
• Experience managing contracts/accounts in technical or hard services.
• Demonstrated leadership and development of contract teams under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
• Exploit opportunities for strategic development to increase turnover and profitability.
• Ensure policies and processes are communicated and implemented on the contract.
• Promote health and safety across the business and subcontractors.
• Design staffing structures to balance cost with service excellence and workload peaks.
• Ensure contract teams are fully competent with succession planning.
• Collaborate with Operational managers to develop the business and support colleagues.
• Develop contract financial plans for revenue, profit, and cost reduction.
• Maintain control systems to meet statutory and contractual commitments.
• Maintain customer focus and strong relationships with client contacts.
• Lead and mentor teams, deliver best-practice training and recognition.
• Communicate effectively through meetings, reports, and forums.
• Support sales through solutions development and mobilisation on new contracts.
• Provide learning environments and development planning for staff.
