Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Storesperson to manage depot and stores operations on-site, ensuring accurate stock control and efficient distribution for field operations.

You will issue stock, record transactions in Microsoft Dynamics, monitor stock levels, and maintain PPE and safety compliance, working with supervisors to optimise logistics and cost efficiency. Telehandler license and Sage stock management experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Adherence to safety policies and regulations.
• Telehandler license is essential.
• Proficient with Microsoft Dynamics and MS Office tooling.
• Understanding of materials needed to maintain operations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor the depot and stores location with strong housekeeping.
• Issue all stock to Operations teams.
• Accurately capture and record stock issued in Microsoft Dynamics.
• Check stock levels on a regular basis.
• Store, catalogue and distribute supplies; arrange collection and delivery.
• Source strategic stock at short notice and ensure PPE for safety.
• Ensure supplier delivery compliance and check deliveries against orders.

Job description

Description As a Storesperson, you will have ultimate responsibility for everything that moves within the yard and stores. You will liaise with supervisors and operatives to support the ordering and distribution of materials and supplies for use in field operations. You will successfully employ best business practices to improve efficiency, reduce operating costs and increase performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and continuously monitor the depot and stores location, ensuring strong housekeeping
• Issue all stock to Operations teams
• Accurately capture, and record of all stock issued in Microsoft Dynamics
• Check stock levels on a regular basis
• Be responsible for storing, cataloguing and distributing supplies by arranging for collection and delivery of equipment and or packages
• Ensure relationships are in place to source strategic stock at short noti
• Ensure there is appropriate PPE to maintain a safe working environment
• Ensure suppliers maintain
  compliance with delivery specifications
• Check quantities of unpacked supplies against delivery notes and purchase orders
• Someone to ensure Health, Safety & compliance within the yard

Experience and Qualifications

• Communication - Good verbal and written communication skills
• HSE - Adherence to safety policies and regulations
• Telehandler license is essential
• Computer knowledge including excel, Word, email
• An understanding of the materials needed to maintain operations
• Sage stock management
