Job summary

South West Recruitment Ltd are seeking a detail-oriented Stores Technician to join our team. You will manage the receipt, inspection, and handling of goods in the stores, ensuring quality standards and stock control.

Hours are 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday, with an early finish on rotation. Starting salary up to £25,000 with potential to rise to £27,200 after training, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• General numeracy and literacy skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and MRP systems.
• Organized, self-motivated with good attention to detail.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Familiarity with inspection equipment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Forklift experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive, book, and inspect goods.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Label and store goods correctly.
• Pick kits and issue materials.
• Pack and label finished goods.
• Control inventory and rotate stock.
• Dispatch finished items promptly.
• Provide cover in any store location within the business.
• Adhere to operational procedures, rules, and schedules.
