Job summary

South West Recruitment Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Stores Technician for a leading sensors company. You will manage receipt, inspection, labeling, stocking, picking, packing, and dispatch, ensuring quality standards and accurate stock control across the stores. Hours are 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday (early finish on rotation).

Salary starts at £25,000 per year and rises to £27,200 after training. Training provided, including forklift driving during probation, with opportunities for career

Qualifications

• General numeracy and literacy skills.
• Proficiency in PC applications (Word, Excel, MRP systems, etc.)
• Organized and self-motivated
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Familiarity with inspection equipment
• Full and valid UK driving license
• Forklift experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

The Company are a leading company in designing, manufacturing, and supplying high-performance sensors globally, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stores Technician to join our team. The Stores Technician will be responsible for managing the receipt, inspection, and handling of goods in the stores department, ensuring compliance with quality standards and stock control.

Hours: 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday (early finish Friday on rotation)

Salary: up to £25,000 per annum depending on experience

Once training is complete the salary will rise to £27,200 per annum.
