Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking Stores Operatives for a client based in Bridgwater. The role involves a mix of warehouse, stock control and customer service duties with a four-week training period during normal hours. After training, you will work fixed or rotating shifts, including weekends and nights.

Initial training is on days (09:00-16:00) at £13 per hour, with shifts after training at £15.50 per hour. Benefits include weekly pay and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse stock control and customer service preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to shift work.

Responsibilities

• Serve engineers at the stores counter and record stock from the inventory system.
• Carry out regular stock counts and check inventory levels.
• Respond to urgent requests for engineering spare parts.
• Follow procedures when contacting suppliers for emergency parts.
• Perform general warehouse duties and keep stores area organized.
• Move stock safely and perform manual handling.
• Ensure visitors sign in and stock movements are recorded.
• Follow site health & safety and company procedures.
• Use a computerised inventory system.
