Job summary

Unipart in Mold is seeking a Warehouse Operative to pick, check, store and pack goods with accuracy. You will load/unload trailers, input data, follow SOPs, and help maintain housekeeping and health & safety standards.

Role involves on-call duties and occasional weekend work; you will contribute to inventory checks and strive to meet KPIs while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Utilities experience required.
• Telehandler experience preferred.
• Stores experience picking and packing required.
• Willing to be on call and work some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pick, check, store and pack goods to a high standard of accuracy.
• Load and unload trailers safely following procedures.
• Report errors, damages or quality issues found during duties.
• Accurately input data into company systems and records.
• Work to standard operating procedures and company policy.
• Achieve KPIs and job standards.
• Maintain high site housekeeping and safety awareness.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock investigations.
• Suggest improvements where appropriate.

Job description

Location: Mold (CH7 6NY)
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 06:00-18:00, standby and call out hours will be in addition to these hours on a rotational basis (24hr standby rota 1 week in 4)
Salary: £31,051.80 per annum, plus additional payments for call out, 30 days holiday, pension, life assurance, employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and flexible benefits scheme

You'll have an important part to play working as part of a team, to complete a range of daily tasks required to ensure the fulfilment of customer requirements. As part of your key responsibilities, you'll:

• Pick, check, store and pack goods either manually or using RF technology to a high standard of accuracy
• Load and unload trailers safely and in line with company procedures
• Report any errors, damages or quality issues found whilst undertaking duties
• Accurately input data into Company computer systems and manual records
• Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy
• Achieve the targets (KPIs) and job standards
• Maintain high standards of site house-keeping
• Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern immediately
• Assist with inventory counting and stock investigations when necessary
• Put suggestions for improvements forward where appropriate
