Job summary

The Best Connection Bolton are recruiting a Stores Operative for a client in Wigan. This role suits someone with stores or warehouse experience who is reliable, organised and capable of working in a busy environment.

Duties include receiving goods, stock management, forklift operation (B1) and ensuring safe storage. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, based in Wigan.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a B1 Forklift would be beneficial.

Stores Operative - Wigan

Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week

The Best Connection Bolton are recruiting for a Stores Operative to join our long-standing client based in Wigan.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous stores or warehouse experience who is organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy environment.

Duties will include:

• Receiving and checking incoming goods, ensuring they arrive in good condition
• Offloading vehicles using mechanical handling equipment
• Organising, sorting and managing stock levels
• Chasing late deliveries and missing goods
• Maintaining accurate stock records
• Carrying out stock takes
• Operating a B1 Forklift
• Supplying materials to operatives as required
• Ensuring goods are stored safely and correctly
• General stores duties
• Keeping the stores area clean, tidy and organised

What we're looking for:

• A positive and reliable attitude
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Previous stores experience would be advantageous
• Experience operating a B1 Forklift would be beneficial
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
