Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Stores Operative to join the Vantage Lifting Solutions team in Whitefield, Manchester. The role involves the receipt, storage and distribution of materials, keeping accurate inventory and ensuring teams have the resources they need.

This hands-on position requires manual handling and basic IT skills. A Full UK driving licence and a forklift licence are required. Full training will be provided, and the role offers a competitive salary.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and safely store deliveries.
• Book goods in and out using the inventory management system.
• Maintain accurate stock records and produce inventory reports.
• Keep storage areas clean, organised and compliant with Health & Safety standards.
• Support the movement, handling and distribution of materials and equipment.
• Assist with deliveries, collections and general labouring duties as required.
• Support vehicle management activities, including vehicle tracking and checks.
• Follow all company policies, procedures and Health & Safety requirements.

We are looking for a Stores Operative to join Vantage Lifting Solutions, part of Mitie Telecoms, supporting the day-to-day running of a busy stores operation in Whitefield, Manchester.

This is a hands-on role where you will help ensure the efficient receipt, storage, tracking and distribution of materials and equipment. You will play a key part in keeping the stores organised, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring operational teams have the equipment and resources they need to succeed.

Role Responsibilities
