Job summary

Unipart in Mold (CH7 6NY) is seeking a Warehouse Operative to pick, check, store and pack goods, and to input data into our systems. You will load and unload trailers as part of a 45-hour week, on a Monday to Friday schedule with a 24-hour standby rota on a 1 in 4 week cycle.

You will join a team focused on safety and efficiency, with 30 days holiday, pension, life assurance, EAP, wellbeing support and a flexible benefits scheme. Weekend standby rotates, reflecting the role's availability.

Qualifications

• Experience with utilities and RF-like data handling is advantageous.
• Telehandler operation experience is desirable.
• Stores picking/packing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, check, store and pack goods to high accuracy.
• Load and unload trailers safely in line with procedures.
• Input data into company systems and manual records.
• Follow standard operating procedures and meet KPIs.
• Maintain site housekeeping and health & safety awareness.

Location: Mold (CH7 6NY)

Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 06:00-18:00, standby and call out hours will be in addition to these hours on a rotational basis (24hr standby rota 1 week in 4)

Salary: £31,051.80 per annum, plus additional payments for call out, 30 days holiday, pension, life assurance, employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and flexible benefits scheme

As Part Of Your Key Responsibilities, You'll

• Pick, check, store and pack goods either manually or using RF technology to a high standard of accuracy
• Load and unload trailers safely and in line with company procedures
• Report any errors, damages or quality issues found whilst undertaking duties
• Accurately input data into Company computer systems and manual records
• Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy
• Achieve the targets (KPIs) and job standards
• Maintain high standards of site house-keeping
• Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern immediately
• Assist with inventory counting and stock investigations when necessary
• Put suggestions for improvements forward where appropriate
