Job summary

Aggreko plc in Lomondgate Production Facility is seeking a Stores Person/Warehouse Operative to ensure inventory accuracy, availability and security, while supporting improvement initiatives to boost visibility and efficiency across the business.

You will work across days, night shifts and overtime as needed, liaise with production, procurement and supply chain teams, handle stock transactions in ERP systems, and receive forklift training. A proactive, detail‑oriented approach is essential.

Job description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Stores Personbased in our Lomondgate Production Facility. As a Warehouse Operative, you will support day to day operations by ensuring the accuracy, availability, and security of warehouse inventory, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance visibility and efficiency across the business.

The role will require flexibility in working hours across Dayshift, Nightshift and Overtime when the plan requires it.

What you’ll do as a Stores Person:

• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, identifying root causes and supporting actions to prevent recurrence

• Work closely with production, procurement and supply chain teams to ensure material availability and resolve urgent requirements

• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse efficiency, stock visibility and inventory control processes

• Operate warehouse equipment and forklifts where required, with full training provided

You are:

• Naturally curious and solutions-focused, with a talent for investigating stock issues and keeping operations running smoothly.

• Experienced with inventory, warehouse or ERP systems, confident managing stock transactions and maintaining accurate records.

• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring inventory accuracy and strong stock control at all times

• Thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment, able to prioritise workload and collaborate effectively across production, supply chain and operations teams.

• Tech-savvy and adaptable, comfortable using Microsoft Office and warehouse systems (experience with M3, Factory Track or similar ERP platforms is a plus). Mechanical or electrical knowledge is advantageous, and full forklift training will be provided.
