Job summary

The Cornwall Bakery, part of the Samworth Brothers family, is looking for a hands-on Stores operator to support material flow on site in the South West. You will ensure safe handling, storage and movement of materials to the point of use or transfer to the bakery.

As part of a busy team, you will maintain stock standards, support stock receipts, and operate forklift trucks. A valid driving licence is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence/experience required.
• Ability to handle stock and perform stock receipting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient transfer of materials to site and storage.
• Maintain stock locations and perform stock receipting and replenishment as per procedures.
• Drive Fork Lift Trucks and support site operations as part of the team.

So what's the job all about?

• They ensure safe, efficient, and accurate transition of materials to site, their storage and delivery to the point of use or transfer to the bakery.
• Stores operators maintain training in all of the functions, PGR (Process Goods Receipting) including Stock Receipting, locating, and picking), locating of stock to the defined standards and procedures, stock Replenishment as required, whilst maintaining area standards.
• They drive Fork Lift Trucks, driving licence is essential for the role.
