Job summary

The Cornwall Bakery, part of Samworth Brothers, is seeking staff for material handling roles in the South West. You will ensure safe, efficient movement of materials, storage and delivery to the point of use, with training in PGR and stock control. The role offers progression within a family-owned national business.

Qualifications

• Store operators receive training in PGR (Process Goods Receipting) including Stock Receipting and picking.
• Staff must locate stock to defined standards and perform stock replenishment as required.
• All operators are trained and competent to handle forklift duties safely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient, and accurate transition of materials to site, their storage and delivery to point of use.
• Maintain area standards and perform stock replenishment as needed.
• Operate Fork Lift Trucks; valid driving licence required.

So what’s the job all about?

• They ensure safe, efficient, and accurate transition of materials to site, their storage and delivery to the point of use or transfer to the bakery.
• Stores operators maintain training in all of the functions, PGR (Process Goods Receipting) including Stock Receipting, locating, and picking), locating of stock to the defined standards and procedures, stock Replenishment as required, whilst maintaining area standards.
• They drive Fork Lift Trucks, driving licence is essential for the role.
