Gap Technical Ltd is seeking an Engineering Stores Person to join their Welwyn Garden City facility on days only (Mon-Fri). This role involves order picking, packing, and maintaining stock accuracy within a busy warehouse environment.

You will handle raw materials and finished goods, manage documentation, and support the RMA process while adhering to health and safety principles and company procedures. The ideal candidate has GCSE English and Maths, experience in general warehouse duties, and

Responsabilités

• Order picking and packing: efficiently processing and dispatching outgoing orders.
• Dispatching orders: ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
• Receiving and booking in raw materials with heat and batch numbers.
• Booking finish goods into stock following customer guidelines.
• Preparing and shipping parts to subcontractors via PO system.
• Arranging collections with customers and supporting the RMA process.
• Movement of products to various departments and locations.
• Work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Maintain housekeeping and adherence to company procedures.
• Undertake other tasks as directed by line manager.

gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Warehouse/Stores Operative to work at their facility based near Welwyn Garden City

Performance Objectives

• Order Picking and packing: Efficiently Processing and dispatching outgoing orders,
• Dispatching Orders: Ensuring ALL documentation is completed correctly while adhering to company procedures. Also, a basic understanding of Certificates of Conformity and Import/Export compliance
• Receiving and Booking in Raw material utilising heat and batch numbers including Free Issue material and storing raw material appropriately within the warehouse
• Other duties of the role/team are
• Booking finish goods into stock following each customers guideline
• Preparing and shipping parts out to various subcontractors through the PO system and receiving back into production
• Arranging collection either directly with the customers
• Support the RMA process- Customer returns
• Movement of products to various departments and locations
• Work without direct supervision and to co-operate as part of a team.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and maintenance of good working practices, including housekeeping and maintenance.
• Undertake other tasks, including work within other sections, as requested by your line manager within limits of capability and training.

Person Specification

• A-C GCSE Level or equivalent in English and Maths;
• Competent in handling high value products
• General warehouse experience
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships
