Job summary

Samworth Brothers is recruiting for a fixed-term role at The Cornwall Bakery. You’ll manage safe and efficient material transfers, stock handling, and forklift operation on-site, with training in goods receipts and stock controls. A clean driving licence is essential to perform the role effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience with forklift trucks and warehouse operations.
• Ability to train in stock receipts, locating and picking per procedures.
• Safety-focused driving and material handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient, and accurate transfer of materials to site and delivery to the point of use.
• Maintain training in PGR, stock receipting, locating, picking, and stock replenishment.
• Operate Fork Lift Trucks; driving licence is essential.

So what's the job all about?

• They ensure safe, efficient, and accurate transition of materials to site, their storage and delivery to the point of use or transfer to the bakery.
• Stores operators maintain training in all of the functions, PGR (Process Goods Receipting) including Stock Receipting, locating, and picking), locating of stock to the defined standards and procedures, stock Replenishment as required, whilst maintaining area standards.
• They drive Fork Lift Trucks, driving licence is essential for the role.
