Job summary

The Best Connection in Bridgend is seeking a reliable Stores Person to join a busy team. You will receive and check deliveries, unload goods, sort stock and keep accurate records, helping keep production flowing.

The role offers Monday to Friday work at £12.91 per hour with opportunities to learn new skills in a supportive environment. Experience in stores or warehouse is helpful; forklift experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly.
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team.
• Previous stores or warehouse experience is advantageous.
• B1 forklift experience/licence would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and checking deliveries and ensuring goods arrive in good condition.
• Safely unloading vehicles using mechanical handling equipment.
• Organising, sorting and managing stock levels.
• Following up on late deliveries and missing goods.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and carrying out stock checks.
• Supplying materials to operatives as required.
• Ensuring all goods are stored safely and appropriately.
• Carrying out general stores duties and keeping the workplace clean, tidy and organised.
