Job summary

Adecco is recruiting a Stores Operative for a large electrical manufacturing client in Telford. You will work 37.5 hours per week with overtime and shifts from 07:00 to 15:30 (Mon-Thu) and 07:00-12:30 on Fridays.

Daily duties include picking/packing, loading/unloading, simple warehouse tasks, and reporting health, safety and stock issues. A proactive, accurate approach and IT literacy are essential; SAP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must work well in a pressurised environment.
• FLT licence preferred.
• Good verbal & written communication skills.
• Strong accuracy and IT literacy; SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out basic warehouse tasks.

Stores Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse operative for our large electrical manufacturing client based in Telford.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, plus the option of overtime.

DAYS - Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 15:30, Friday 07:00 - 12:30

• Days £12.71 per hour, overtime up to double, increase to £13.92 after 12 weeks

Responsibilities

• Solve problems (Such as orders not booking in, incorrect quantities, items not fitting into location, new items)
• Investigate issues where problems have occurred to stop them happening again
• Carry out simple warehouse operation tasks
• Picking/Packing
• Loading/Unloading
• Identifying and reporting on health, safety and environmental issues within the work place.
