Major Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a client in Shrewsbury area for a permanent FLT/Warehouse Operative. Shifts run 6am-2pm or 10am-6pm, Monday to Friday, with duties including receipting, picking, packing and loading to meet KPIs while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements include accurate work, workload prioritisation, knowledge of product range and safe storage/transport procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work accurately and prioritise workload.
• Understanding of the product range and the requirements to store and transport safely.
• Experience in FLT/Warehouse operations and general warehouse duties.

Job description

My Shewsbury Client is currently recruiting for an FLT/Warehouse Operative on a permanent basis.

Working Monday to Friday, from 6am - 2pm or 10am - 6pm, the successful applicant will operate as part of the warehouse operation during the peak loading period. They will ensure that their shift achieves its KPI's and provides excellent customer service. Receipting, Picking, Packing and Loading will form a major part of the role, as will driving a range of Manuel handling equipment.

The ability to work accurately and prioritise your own workload is essential, as is an understanding of the product range and an awareness of the requirements to store and transport the products safely.
