Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative in Leeds. The role covers processing orders and shipping, with a 37-hour week and rotating shifts from 10:30 am to 18:30. After a 12-week probation, pay rises to £16.52 per hour.

The successful candidate will handle order processing, develop product knowledge and work on team projects while ensuring health and safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Proficient with basic computer packages.
• Good literacy and numeracy.
• Strong communication skills.
• FLT forklift license is advantageous.
• Bendi/Flexi forklift license is advantageous.
• Flexible approach to work and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Process all sales orders accurately and promptly.
• Process all purchase orders promptly.
• Follow management policies for order processing.
• Build product and systems knowledge for daily workload.
• Participate in individual and team projects.
• Perform additional duties as directed by Distribution management.
• Identify and report health, safety and environmental issues.

Job Opportunity: Warehouse Operative

Role Overview

This position is responsible for ensuring daily customer requirements and productivity levels are met in line with departmental KPI's.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all sales orders are processed accurately and promptly.
• Ensure all Purchase Orders are processed promptly.
• Follow all policy guidelines as issued by management on the processing of orders.
• Develop appropriate product and systems knowledge to carry out daily workload.
• Involvement with individual and team projects.
• Perform additional duties as determined by the Distribution management team.
• Identify and report any health, safety and environmental issues within the workplace.
