Stores Operative - Derby

We are seeking a Stores Operative for our Derby-based client. The role is vital in ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receive, check, and record incoming deliveries against purchase orders.
2. Inspect goods for damages or discrepancies and report issues.
3. Accurately record stock levels and maintain inventory systems.
4. Conduct regular stock counts and cycle checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
5. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch according to delivery schedules.
6. Ensure orders are packed securely and labelled correctly.
7. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
8. Ensure stock is stored safely and according to company standards.
9. Follow health and safety policies and procedures.
10. Maintain accurate records of stock movements and delivery notes.
11. Prepare reports for the warehouse manager as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to accurately record data.
• Basic IT skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
